FAQs

About Our Facilities

Our secure private centre is designed with your dog’s safety and happiness in mind. Dogs are grouped by size, age, and temperament to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Facilities include safe and secure air-locked areas, puppy training zones, agility equipment, doggy beach, shaded play areas, and cozy heated indoor spaces. We also offer doggy swimming pools in summer and washing/drying services in colder months.

A day includes group play, free play for energy burn-off, enrichment games, agility fun, scent work, training, lunch breaks, rest periods, and calm downtime. Puppies receive more frequent rest breaks to support their development. Each day ends with final play, wash-up, and health checks before home time.

Yes! We provide a daily photo library of your pup’s activities, so you’ll always have a window into their adventures. You can also check out our Instagram feed @londondogclub for a glimpse into life at our daycare.

Absolutely. Once your dog’s trial day is booked, you can schedule a live video tour with Cara, our dedicated Daycare Manager.

Care & Safety

All dogs must have completed their initial puppy vaccinations and be up to date with annual boosters. We also strongly recommend the Kennel Cough vaccine, especially for puppies or dogs in group settings. Proof of vaccinations will be required prior to your trial day.

Yes! We welcome puppies from 15 weeks of age, provided they meet vaccination requirements. Puppies receive extra care, structured socialisation, plenty of cuddles, and regular rest breaks to support their growth and development.

Yes, absolutely. We’re proud to offer a dedicated space called Peaceful Paws within our daycare centre, designed especially for dogs with health conditions, mobility issues, or special needs. This calm, secure area features soft bedding, gentle play zones, and enrichment toys instead of agility equipment. Dogs in Peaceful Paws are grouped with other low-energy companions to ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and fully cared for throughout the day — with no risk of being overwhelmed by more energetic playmates.

As soon as you notify us of your dog’s allergies or intolerances, we update their notes and apply our yellow bandana system. This means your dog will always have “(YB)” marked next to their name in our records and will wear a yellow bandana whenever they’re with us. It’s a clear, visual reminder for all team members to take extra care and ensure your dog avoids any foods, treats, or materials that could trigger a reaction.

Our team is fully Pet First Aid-qualified and partnered with Goddard Vets. If veterinary care is required, we will transport your dog immediately and contact you as soon as possible.

London Dog Club is fully insured with Pet Business Insurance (PBI). This covers all dogs and staff in our care. However, if an incident occurs where the Club is not at fault (such as a dog-on-dog injury), claims would need to go through your personal pet insurance. Having your own policy is a requirement for membership.

Trial Day

Every new dog must complete a trial day (£58). This allows our team to assess your dog’s behaviour, comfort, and interactions with other dogs and humans. We also carry out basic training exercises and a health check. At the end of the day, you’ll receive a personal update from our Daycare Manager along with photos.

Transportation

Our custom vans are fitted with secure, spacious crates and air conditioning for safe, stress-free journeys. Dogs are collected and dropped off at your home within set time windows. For added convenience, we also offer a key-holding service or secure lockbox access if you’re not home.

We’re based in Chessington, just about 30 minutes from our collection routes, making it an easy and efficient journey for all pups in our care.

Journey times vary depending on the day’s route and your dog’s collection order (for example, collection 1 or 7). However, we optimise all transport routes daily to keep travel times as short as possible. Most dogs spend between 30 and 90 minutes in transit, depending on traffic and the number of pickups that day.

  • Full Day: Collection between 6:30–8:00am, drop-off between 3:00–4:30pm
  • Half Day (selected SW postcodes only): Collection between 9:00–10:30am, drop-off between 3:00–4:30pm

We currently cover the following areas: Fulham, Kensington, Pimlico, Notting Hill, Holland Park, Chelsea, Earls Court, Putney, Roehampton, Wimbledon, Barnes, Mortlake, Hammersmith, Chiswick, Acton, Shepherd’s Bush, Battersea, Nine Elms, Clapham, Wandsworth, Tooting, and Balham.

Boarding

Yes. We’ve partnered with Green Lane Farm, a trusted family-run business, to provide boarding. Dogs enjoy full daycare at London Dog Club during the week, then spend evenings at Green Lane Farm in a cozy, safe environment. Boarding includes playtime, love, and cuddles, with optional extra weekend walks.

Boarding is £70 per 24 hours (based on one dog). This includes weekday daycare, overnight care, and collection/drop-off. Discounts are available for multiple dogs.
